The very best aspiring American junior nordic ski racers will descend on the two-time Olympic Village of Lake Placid, NY USAfrom March 3-11 for the 2017 USSA Cross Country Junior Championships.  Fans will be treated to a glimpse of the future of Team USA as the best athletes under the age of 20 race for glory on some of the very best cross country trails in Lake Placid, the Adirondacks, and quite possibly the entire Northeast. 

The Olympic Cross Country ski trails of Mt. Van Hoevenberg have delighted individuals, couples and families for over 35 years. Constant trail upgrades and world class grooming on 50 km of rolling Adirondack terrain have been the hallmark of our Olympic legacy. Skiers have always found trails fit for the Olympian inside them, no matter their ability. Through the forest, follow the trails that have led athletes, like locals Bill Demong (Gold and Silver Medalist in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games), Lowell Bailey, Tim Burke, Annalise Cook, and John Farra, to National and Olympic glory.
